Impact Viel has eight goals, 26 points and 130 PIM in 51 appearances with AHL Providence in 2024-25. He might draw into the Bruins' lineup Saturday versus Pittsburgh, especially with Trent Frederic (lower body) on the shelf.

Michael Callahan - Back to Providence Callahan was reassigned to AHL Providence on Friday.
Impact Callahan has played 11 games with the Bruins this season and has yet to hit the scoresheet. The 25-year-old defenseman had one goal and five helpers in 36 AHL games before his recall.

Riley Tufte - Sent to AHL Tufte was assigned to AHL Providence on Friday.
Impact Tufte was called up by Boston on an emergency basis last week, and he was held without a point while logging three hits and a blocked shot over two appearances during his stint with the NHL club. However, he'll head back to the minors after Georgi Merkulov and Jeffrey Viel were recalled as part of a corresponding move Friday.
