OCTOBER 14 • NHL.COM
Ivan Provorov - Helpers in consecutive contests Provorov notched an assist and two shots on goal in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.
Impact Provorov has a helper in each of the last two games, accounting for all of his offense through three contests. The 28-year-old blueliner is in a top-four role with time in all situations to begin the year, though he could eventually lose out on some power-play time to Denton Mateychuk. Provorov has added seven shots on net, six blocks and a plus-4 rating to begin 2025-26.

Dmitri Voronkov - Scores late in loss Voronkov scored a goal on five shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.
Impact Voronkov created a little hope with a goal at 19:39 of the third period, but the Blue Jackets couldn't overcome Dawson Mercer's empty-netter from a few seconds earlier. Voronkov is off to an excellent start this season, earning two goals, two assists, eight shots on net, six hits and a plus-5 rating over three contests. He's seeing top-six minutes and some power-play time. The 25-year-old could have a breakout campaign after posting 23 goals and 47 points over 73 regular-season outings a year ago.

Brenden Dillon - Bags apple in win Dillon registered and assist, four hits and two blocked shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
Impact Dillon picked up his first point in three games when he helped out on Dawson Mercer's empty-netter. The 34-year-old Dillon is a stalwart on the third pairing and already has nine hits and seven blocked shots this season. He offers little scoring upside but should remain a steady presence in the physical categories -- he has at least 190 hits and 100 blocks in each of the last four seasons.
OCTOBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Ondrej Palat - Draws assist Monday Palat notched a power-play assist and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
Impact Palat has started the year in a familiar role, working as a top-six option despite limited minutes overall. He's averaging just 13:18 of ice time per game over three contests, adding an assist, two shots on net, five hits and five blocked shots. Palat could remain alongside Jack Hughes for a while, as Evgenii Dadonov (hand) landed on long-term injured reserve Sunday and Stefan Noesen (groin) is expected to be out until at least late October.
OCTOBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Jack Hughes - Supplies power-play helper Hughes logged a power-play assist, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
Impact Hughes has a pair of helpers, eight shots on net and a minus-2 rating through three games on the year. A slow start is not too unusual -- Hughes' 2024-25 campaign ended with shoulder surgery, though he was healthy by the start of training camp and worked without limitations. He's scored at least 26 goals in four straight years despite missing at least 20 games in three of those seasons, so the 24-year-old center should continue to offer high-end offense.
OCTOBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Timo Meier - Strikes on power play Meier scored a power-play goal on three shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
Impact Meier has goals in back-to-back games and found the scoresheet with the man advantage for the first time this year. The 29-year-old winger is up to three points, 10 shots on net, six hits and a plus-1 rating. He offers appeal as a top-six option who provides strong category coverage, and he should be able to get into the 50-60 point range at a minimum with a relatively healthy campaign.
