Jacob Markstrom - Drawing start against St. Louis Markstrom will start Wednesday's home game against the Blues, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
Impact Markstrom has split time in the crease recently, but he'll draw a second consecutive start Wednesday. Across six starts in November, he's gone 4-1-1 with a 2.98 GAA and .895 save percentage. The Blues are scoring just 2.65 goals per game this season, which is tied for the fifth-worst mark in the league.

Evgenii Dadonov - Set for lengthy absence Dadonov (undisclosed) is expected to miss an extended period of time but is undergoing additional evaluation, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports Wednesday.
Impact Dadonov was just four games back from a long-term absence due to a hand injury that had cost him 17 games previously. The veteran winger is pointless in his five outings this year. Given his lack of offensive upside and injury concerns, Dadonov is unlikely to offer much in the way of fantasy value.

Impact Dadonov is undergoing an evaluation after suffering an injury in Monday's 4-3 win over Detroit. He hasn't earned a point in five appearances this season while posting seven shots on goal, four blocked shots and two hits. Based on Tuesday's practice, Juho Lammikko will replace Dadonov in Wednesday's lineup against the Blues.

Impact Brown got involved with a secondary helper in the first period before netting the go-ahead goal midway through the second. With the pair of points, the 31-year-old winger is up to six goals, two assists and 22 shots on net through 15 games this season. The points were his first since returning from injured reserve with an upper-body injury. When healthy, Brown has been involved a fair amount in New Jersey's offensive plans from the third line. He could become relevant in deep leagues if he starts to trend closer towards the 30-point mark that he hit a season ago with the Oilers.

Cody Glass - Lights the lamp in return Glass scored a goal and blocked a shot in Monday's 4-3 win over the Red Wings.
Impact Glass found the back of the net with less than one minute to go in the first, capping off a three-goal effort from New Jersey in the opening period. Overall, the 26-year-old center has four goals and 20 shots on net through 11 games this season. Monday's game was his first since sustaining an upper-body injury and he didn't miss a beat in getting involved offensively. The stint on IR was Glass' second of the season, which makes him a risky long-term stash in fantasy. When he is healthy, however, he offers decent goal-scoring numbers and could provide fantasy value in deep leagues if he begins to find his footing as a playmaker this season.

Impact Meier's strong all-around effort Monday was highlighted by scoring the opening goal before assisting Nico Hischier's tally just minutes later. After Monday's contest, Meier is up to seven goals, 10 assists, 69 shots on net and 39 hits through 22 games this season. He continues to launch shots at a high rate with three or more attempts on target in eight of his last 10 games. The top-line left winger for New Jersey has begun to hit his stride, with Monday's performance marking his fourth multi-point game of the season. Meier now has goals in back-to-back games, so look for the 29-year-old winger to push toward the 30-goal threshold that he just missed in the past two regular seasons.

Impact Hischier once again served as the workhorse forward for New Jersey, as he made a large impact on both ends of the floor in his 21:15 of ice time. With his active performance Monday, Hischier is up to seven goals, 11 assists, 49 shots on net and 26 blocks through 22 games this season. The No. 1 overall selection in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft has five points in his last two games and has stepped up in a big way with Jack Hughes (finger) sidelined. Hischier should continue to play a large chunk of minutes each game moving forward, and his category coverage makes him a high-level play in most fantasy formats.

Impact After he conceded five goals in his most recent outing, Markstrom bounced back Monday with a strong win. He made multiple highlight-reel saves down the stretch, including when he stacked the pads and threw his right leg in the air to make a crucial save. With the win, the 35-year-old netminder is up to a 6-3-1 record with a 3.74 GAA and an .871 save percentage through 10 appearances this season. Monday's outing was a step in the right direction for Markstrom, who now has four wins in his last six games. While his numbers are inflated due to three performances where he allowed five goals or more, he should be a solid goaltending option in two-goalie formats for the time being. While he's back on track to reach the 20-win mark for the ninth consecutive season, the 2025-26 campaign could be a year of regression if he can't start keeping the puck out of his own net more than three times per game. His next chance to guard the crease is Wednesday against St. Louis.
