Dennis Cholowski - Playing time trending down Cholowski was scratched in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Golden Knights.

Impact Cholowski has sat out eight of the Devils' last 13 games after being a regular in the lineup in early November. With Brett Pesce (upper body) back in action, Cholowski will be left to contend with Colton White for one spot in the lineup. Over 15 games this year, Cholowski has one assist, 10 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating, so he won't be a factor in fantasy even if he gets a run of playing time.

Connor Brown - Capitalizes on turnover Brown scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Golden Knights.

Impact Brown has two goals and three helpers over his last five games. His tally Wednesday saw him force a turnover, collect the puck and deke around Carter Hart for the goal. Brown is up to eight goals, six helpers, 37 shots on net, 20 blocked shots, 10 hits and a plus-1 rating over 27 appearances. He's playing on the second line currently and could be a streaming option as long as he's in a larger role than usual.

Jake Allen - Strong showing in shootout win Allen stopped 36 of 37 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Golden Knights.

Impact Allen couldn't make a 1-0 lead stand to the end, as he gave up a power-play goal to Pavel Dorofeyev with 4:11 left in the third period. The 35-year-old Allen didn't let that shake him, and he was perfect in overtime and the shootout to get his second win in a row. He improved to 10-7-0 with a 2.49 GAA and a .912 save percentage over 18 appearances. Allen hasn't had great consistency this year, but he's been a lot better than Jacob Markstrom, and that's starting to be reflected in the playing time. The Devils' next game is Friday in Utah.

Jake Allen - Starting in Vegas Allen will protect the road goal versus the Golden Knights on Wednesday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Impact Allen won his last outing, posting 30 saves on 31 shots in a 4-1 win over the Ducks on Saturday. He's allowed 14 goals over his last four outings, but he's still gotten a decent share of playing time because Jacob Markstrom has also struggled. The Golden Knights will be missing Jack Eichel (illness) and Shea Theodore (upper body), which takes a little bit of punch out of the opposing lineup.

Impact Gritsyuk hasn't been in the lineup since Thursday, so this move can be retroactive to that date. He has seven goals and 16 points in 31 appearances in 2025-26. Gritsyuk didn't join the Devils for their two-game road trip, so in addition to missing Wednesday's game in Vegas, he's also set to miss Friday's clash in Utah.
