Stefan Noesen - Goal, assist in two games since call-up Noesen scored a goal Thursday in a 7-1 win over the Rangers.

Impact Noesen has a goal and an assist in two games since his call-up from Utica (AHL) as the Devils 13th forward. He played in 38 games for New Jersey in 2025-26, scoring three goals and four assists, and adding 33 PIM and a minus-12 rating. Noesen's deployment is temporary with Luke Evangelista (illness) and Connor Brown (lower body) out short term.

Cody Glass - First career shorthanded goal Glass scored his first goal of the season in Thursday's 7-1 win over the Rangers.

Impact It was the journeyman pivot's first career shorthanded goal in the NHL. The 27-year-old Glass is coming off what can only be described as an outlier year -- 19 goals, seven assists, 104 shots and 39 PIM. That kind of goal production is all but impossible as the Devils fourth-line center, and come 2027, Nick Bjugstad (pectoral) will return and change the depth chart. Glass may be the odd man out or moved to the wing.

Nico Daws - First win of season Daws made 18 saves in Thursday's 7-1 win over the Rangers.

Impact It was his first win of the season. Daws is part of the Devils' three-headed netminding monster, along with Jake Allen and Remi Poirier. Daws has potential -- he's big and calm, and is good at swallowing rebounds. But his post-to-post speed is a challenge in the high-speed NHL environment. Daws is currently 1-2-0 with a 3.38 GAA and .857 save percentage in three starts.

Evan Rodrigues - Back-to-back two-point games Rodrigues had a goal and an assist in Thursday's 7-1 win over the Rangers.

Impact Rodrigues had no points in his first five games, but he has since put up back-to-back two-point efforts (two goals, two assists). He's hopping the boards as his team's third-line center with Anthony Mantha and Stefan Noesen on his flanks. But it's Rodrigues' deployment on the top power-play unit that ratchets his value up for fantasy. None of his points have come with the man advantage, but that deployment will deliver results if he can stay there.

Luke Hughes - First NHL multigoal game Hughes scored two goals Thursday in a 7-1 win over the Rangers.

Impact It was his first career multigoal game in the NHL; the first one stood as the game winner. Hughes has three goals, one assist and 22 shots in seven games so far this season. He's averaging 24:06, which is a full minute more than last season (23:01). Hughes hasn't been a prolific goal scorer in his career, so these kinds of nights are few and far between. But he's entering the season with good health and hope for his first 50-point season.

Luke Evangelista - Still dealing with fever Evangelista (illness) will not play in Thursday's home clash against the Rangers, per Kristy Flannery.

Impact Head coach Sheldon Keefe shared that Evangelista hasn't been able to shake off a fever, which will keep him sidelined for his second consecutive contest. Prior to the illness, the 24-year-old winger posted two goals, three points, 12 shots on net and four blocked shots across five appearances. If he's able to get back to full health prior to Saturday's road contest against the Capitals, he'll have a chance to rejoin the team's top six.
