Johnathan Kovacevic - Lends helper in Philadelphia Kovacevic logged an even-strength assist, one hit and a plus-1 rating in 21:39 of ice time in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Flyers.
Impact After inking a five-year, $20 million contract extension with New Jersey on Friday, Kovacevic is quickly proving his worth -- he has recorded a primary assist in back-to-back games since signing the deal. The right-shot blueliner has provided one goal, 15 helpers and a plus-12 rating over 65 appearances in 2024-25. Kovacevic is currently skating with newcomer Brian Dumoulin on the second pairing.

Dawson Mercer - Scores again Sunday Mercer deposited an empty-net goal on the power play Sunday in a 3-1 win over Philadelphia.
Impact Mercer has tallies in back-to-back games for the first time since late December. The right-shot forward sealed the win for the Devils with his third power-play marker of the season at 19:42 of the final frame. After a strong first half of the season, Mercer has struggled to consistently contribute on offense since the calendar flipped to January -- he has nine points (six goals) over 25 outings in the new year. However, he's on track to surpass the 33 points he produced over 82 regular-season games in 2023-24.

Erik Haula - First points since November Haula generated a goal and a power-play assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Flyers.
Impact Haula gave the Devils a 2-0 lead at 5:39 of the middle frame and set up Dawson Mercer's empty-net goal on the power play late in the third. This was Haula's first time on the scoresheet since Nov. 25, though he did miss 12 games from Jan. 6 to Feb. 2 with an ankle injury. It was also just his second multi-point effort of the campaign. For the season, the 33-year-old has chipped in six goals and seven helpers while serving mostly in a middle-six capacity over 53 appearances.

Cody Glass - Scores in debut with New Jersey Glass scored an even-strength goal on his only shot and went plus-2 Sunday in a 3-1 win over Philadelphia.
Impact Glass was dealt from the Penguins to the Devils on Friday, and it didn't take long for the 25-year-old to crack the scoresheet with his new club -- he opened the scoring at 11:10 of the first period Sunday. Glass centered the third line between Erik Haula and Daniel Sprong, but unless he receives power-play time, his fantasy value will likely remain limited.

Jake Allen - Back in win column Allen turned aside 23 of 24 shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Flyers.
Impact Allen rebounded with a solid performance Sunday after allowing a total of eight goals in back-to-back losses. The New Brunswick native improved to 10-13-1 with a .910 save percentage and a 2.62 GAA over 24 appearances in 2024-25. Now that Jacob Markstrom is healthy, the 34-year-old Allen is back to serving as the No. 2 netminder, though the former is winless in three starts since returning from a knee injury.
