Erik Haula - Picks up helper Tuesday Haula notched an assist in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Bruins.
Impact Haula got on the scoresheet against one of his former teams, setting up a Timo Meier tally in the second period. This snapped a five-game drought for Haula, who has been in a second-line role in recent weeks. The 34-year-old has had a down year on offense with 18 points, 102 shots on net, 98 hits, 39 PIM and a minus-7 rating across 65 appearances after earning at least 35 points in each of the previous three campaigns.

Daniel Sprong - Records assist Tuesday Sprong notched an assist, three shots on goal and five hits in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Bruins.
Impact The helper was Sprong's first point as a Devil, to go with 14 shots on goal and 16 hits over eight contests. The 28-year-old has seen bottom-six minutes and a little power-play time on the second unit, though he's also been scratched six times since he was traded from Seattle. Between the Canucks, Kraken and Devils, Sprong has been limited to six points in 27 contests while adding 45 shots on net, 27 hits and an even plus-minus rating at the NHL level this season.

Jake Allen - Makes brief relief appearance Allen saved both shots he faced in relief of Jacob Markstrom in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Bruins.
Impact Markstrom fell flat in the third period, and after giving up three goals in a span of 5:52 in the final frame, head coach Sheldon Keefe made the switch in goal. This outing did little to change Allen's numbers for the season -- he's at a 2.59 GAA and a .909 save percentage in 29 outings. The Devils' playoff spot isn't secure just yet, but they need either a point earned or a point lost by each of the Rangers, Islanders and Blue Jackets to clinch. At that point, don't be surprised if Allen gets a start or two in the final week of the season to keep Markstrom fresh for the likely first-round playoff series against the Hurricanes.

Timo Meier - Lights the lamp Tuesday Meier scored a goal in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to Boston.
Impact Meier's tally was the second goal scored by New Jersey in 19 seconds mid-way through the second period. With the twine finder, Meier eclipsed the 50-point mark on the season with an even 25 goals and assists in 77 games this year. While his playmaking has suffered in the absence of Jack Hughes (shoulder), Meier has eight goals in his last 13 games and is scoring the puck at a 17.4-percent shot rate. This gives him solid value in all formats for the remainder of the fantasy postseason.

Stefan Noesen - Eclipses 40-point mark Noesen scored a goal, put three shots on net and dished out five hits in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Bruins.
Impact Noesen scored the first of two goals that New Jersey would put in the back of the net across 19 seconds in the middle of the second period. Overall, the 32-year-old forward has 21 goals, 40 points and 159 shots on net in 76 games this season. Noesen's hot start to the season and increased role on New Jersey's power play helped him set a new career high in points this year. He's been heating up offensively with eight points in his last 14 games and has solid fantasy value in deeper leagues for the remainder of the regular season.

Jacob Markstrom - Struggles in Tuesday's loss Markstrom saved 16 of 23 shots on goal in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Bruins.
Impact Tuesday's performance is an outing that Markstrom will quickly have to put behind him with New Jersey almost guaranteed to see playoff hockey in just over a week's time. He allowed two goals in each of the first two periods before he allowed three in the first 10 minutes of the third period. With the loss, the 35-year-old Markstrom has a 26-15-6 record with a 2.53 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 48 games this year. Tuesday's loss ended Markstrom's four-game winning streak and was his first loss in regulation since March 20 against his former team in Calgary. He still has solid value in all fantasy formats if he can bounce back quickly. His next opportunity to start between the pipes is Friday against the Penguins.
