Juuse Saros - Tending twine SundaySaros will get the starting nod in Minnesota on Sunday.
ImpactSaros has been on a tear lately, going 7-0-1 over his last eight appearances. He's produced a stellar 1.75 GAA and .940 save percentage during that stretch. The 28-year-old has not lost on the road since Jan. 29. Saros is 27-21-3 with a 2.83 GAA and a .907 save percentage this season.

Tyson Barrie - Still riding pine in NashvilleBarrie (healthy scratch) was almost dealt to the Flames at the trade deadline, but ultimately a deal did not get done, Emma Lingan of The Hockey News reports.
ImpactBarrie was out of the lineup for the 11th straight game Saturday against the Blue Jackets, and has played in only five games since the end of December. With just one goal and 11 assists in 35 games this season, Barrie has to be seen as a failed experiment by the Preds since they acquired him in the Mattias Ekhom trade last year. Barrie is expected to become a free agent in July, and will look to ply his trade with another team next season.

Alexandre Texier - Point streak at five gamesTexier scored his 10th goal of the season in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Predators.
ImpactThe 24-year-old spoiled Kevin Lankinen's shutout bid early in the second period by flipping home the rebound on an Ivan Provorov shot. Texier has found a groove of late, getting onto the scoresheet in five straight games and producing two goals and six points over that stretch, but on the season he still has a modest 24 points in 60 contests.

Luke Evangelista - Scores GWG in ColumbusEvangelista scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 victory over the Blue Jackets.
ImpactThe 22-year-old winger got sprung for a partial breakaway early in the third period and fired a perfect shot off the crossbar to beat Daniil Tarasov and break a 1-1 tie. Evangelista is up to 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists) over 63 games in his first full NHL season, but rather than hit a wall he's picked up the pace of late with four goals and seven points in the last 11 contests.

Kevin Lankinen - Sharp in win over JacketsLankinen made 32 saves in Saturday's 2-1 win over Columbus.
ImpactAlexandre Texier flipped home a rebound early in the second period, but otherwise Lankinen had an answer for everything the Blue Jackets fired at him. The 28-year-old backup netminder has won three straight starts dating back to Feb. 20, allowing six goals on 90 shots (.933 save percentage) over that stretch and making sure the red-hot Predators don't have a letdown when Juuse Saros isn't between the pipes.
