Cole Smith - Assist and fight in shootout loss
Smith notched an assist and a fighting major in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.
Impact
Smith made a quick impact on offense, setting up Colton Sissons' goal at 4:55 of the first period, just 27 seconds after the Canucks opened the scoring. In the middle frame, Smith dropped the gloves with J.T. Miller. Smith hasn't been one to back down from the rough stuff this season -- he has 52 PIM and 158 hits to go with 15 points, 54 shots on net and a minus-1 rating through 55 outings in his first full NHL campaign.

Sissons scored a goal on three shots and added three hits in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.
Impact
Sissons has scored in back-to-back games for the second time this season. The 29-year-old forward had a slow start to the campaign, but he's notched four goals and two helpers over his last 11 outings. Through 61 contests overall, he has 11 goals, 24 points, 60 shots on net, 134 hits, 46 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating while mainly playing in a bottom-six role.

Juuse Saros - Falls in shootout
Saros stopped 26 of 29 shots in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.
Impact
Saros' game started and ended the same way -- with Elias Pettersson putting a puck behind him. The Canucks' top forward tallied 4:28 into the first period and also had the lone goal in the shootout to send Saros to his first loss past regulation time since Dec. 23. The Finnish netminder is at 24-17-6 with a 2.75 GAA and a .917 save percentage through 47 starts this season, though he's 3-1-1 with just 10 goals allowed over his last five outings. The Predators' road trip continues Thursday in Arizona.

Jeremy Lauzon - Rare two-point effort
Lauzon produced two assists and added two hits in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.
Impact
Lauzon typically doesn't put up much offense, though he's managed a solid four assists over his last eight contests. He helped out on the Predators' first two goals in this game. For the season, the 25-year-old blueliner has three goals, a career-high 10 points, 63 shots on net, 195 hits, 61 blocked shots, 57 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 54 appearances.

ROTOWIRE
Luke Evangelista - Nets first two goals of career
Evangelista scored twice on six shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.
Impact
Evangelista has stepped right into a top-six role since he was recalled from AHL Milwaukee Feb. 28. The 21-year-old winger put the Predators on his back Monday, scoring twice in the third period to even the score at 3-3 and force overtime. He's picked up three points, 10 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through four NHL outings. If he continues to play a large role for a team that shipped out a lot of talent at the trade deadline, Evangelista could work his way onto the fantasy radar for the rest of the season.
