Hunter Haight - Dishes hits in debut Haight drew into his first NHL game for Thursday's 5-0 win over St. Louis.
Impact Haight didn't get in on the offensive action, recording no points and no shots in 10:27 of ice time. However, the 21-year-old did record two hits, and that grit is particularly important in his current fourth-line role. He had 20 goals, 34 points and 30 PIM in 67 regular-season outings with AHL Iowa in 2024-25.

Zeev Buium - Has big role Although Buium didn't record a point in his NHL regular-season debut Thursday, he did log big minutes in the 5-0 victory over St. Louis.
Impact Buium got 20:10 of ice time, including 2:15 with the man advantage. If that workload is a preview of things to come, then Buium is perfectly positioned to have a fantastic rookie campaign. The 19-year-old was taken with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. He excelled as a sophomore with the University of Denver in 2024-25, recording 13 goals, 48 points and 44 PIM in 41 outings. He also registered an assist in four playoff outings with Minnesota last year.

Yakov Trenin - Offers assist Thursday Trenin posted an assist, four hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Blues.
Impact Trenin is off to a positive start in 2025-26. He's still in a third-line role and doesn't see much action on special teams, but he can provide plenty of physicality. His offensive ceiling is low -- he's missed the 20-point mark in consecutive seasons after posting back-to-back 24-point campaigns the two years prior. Overall, Trenin isn't likely to move the needle much for fantasy.

Alexey Toropchenko - In doubt Saturday Toropchenko is dealing with upper and lower-body injuries and is questionable to face the Flames on Saturday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Impact The Blues didn't offer much in the way of details other than to say Toropchenko was sore. At this point, given that the winger might be dealing with multiple injuries, it seems unlikely he'll be ready to face the Flames. Last season, the Russian notched four goals and 14 helpers in 80 regular-season tilts, missing the 20-point threshold for the second time in the last three years.
