Pierre-Olivier Joseph - Nearing return Joseph (lower body) isn't expected to play Thursday, but he's close to returning, per Lou Korac of NHL.com on Wednesday.
Impact Joseph has missed St. Louis' past three games. He has an assist and 23 PIM in 13 appearances in 2024-25. Joseph might serve on St. Louis' third pairing once he's healthy.

Philip Broberg - Ahead of schedule Broberg (lower body) is skating and believed to be ahead of schedule in his recovery, Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Wednesday.
Impact Broberg, who hasn't played since Nov. 2, was originally projected to miss 4-6 weeks. It's not clear how much his timetable has changed, but perhaps he'll be in the lineup before the end of the month. He has two goals and nine points in 12 outings in 2024-25. The Blues will certainly be grateful for the good news on the injury front given the challenges they've had to endure on the blue line. Nick Leddy (lower body) and Pierre-Olivier Joseph (lower body) are also on the shelf, and Torey Krug (ankle) isn't expected to play at all this season.

Zack Bolduc - Garners assist Tuesday Bolduc logged an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.
Impact The helper ended a three-game dry spell for Bolduc, who was also scratched three times in that span. His playing time is trending in the wrong direction -- in addition to the recent scratches, he saw a season-low 8:30 of ice time Tuesday. The 21-year-old has five assists, 14 shots on net, 24 hits and a plus-2 rating over 15 appearances, but it looks like he could benefit from a little more development time in the AHL if he can't find a groove on offense soon.

Robert Thomas - Power-play helper in return Thomas notched a power-play assist, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.
Impact Thomas missed 12 games due to an ankle fracture. He returned in just under a month after being given a six-week timeline, and his presence in the lineup should elevate the Blues' offense across the board. The center has seven points (one goal, six assists), 14 shots on net, eight blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through eight contests overall. Thomas also won 14 of 23 faceoffs Tuesday and has a 62.4 percent win rate at the dot this season, by far the best mark of his career, albeit with plenty of the campaign left to play.

Scott Perunovich - Deposits goal Tuesday Perunovich scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.
Impact Perunovich has taken advantage of steadier playing time, earning three points over his last six games while filling a top-four role with some power-play time. The 26-year-old blueliner was held off the scoresheet in his first five appearances this season, so it's good to see him make some progress on offense. Overall, he has two goals, one assist, five shots on net, 16 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating across 11 outings.
