Caleb Jones - Hits waivers Jones (upper body) was activated from injured reserve and placed on waivers Sunday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Impact Jones missed nine straight games after being injured in a 4-2 loss to Colorado on Nov. 13. He will probably get some playing time with AHL Ontario if he clears waivers. The 27-year-old defender hasn't earned a point in five NHL appearances this season while posting six shots on goal, four blocked shots and nine hits.

Travis Boyd - Reassigned to AHL Boyd was sent to AHL Iowa on Sunday.

Impact Boyd has been a healthy scratch for the last five games. He hasn't earned a point in two NHL appearances this campaign while posting two blocked shots and one hit. Boyd has two goals and nine assists in 13 AHL outings this season.

Jon Merrill - Offers assist in loss Merrill logged an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Kings.

Impact Merrill was in the lineup for the sixth game in a row -- he's been filling in while Jonas Brodin (upper body) is out of action. Merrill is more of a pure defensive player and typically won't see a large role. He's at two assists, 15 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 20 appearances this season. While he's had steady playing time recently, one of Merrill or Zach Bogosian may be at risk of losing playing time once David Jiricek makes his team debut.

Zach Bogosian - Provides rare helper Bogosian notched an assist and four blocked shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Kings.

Impact Bogosian ended a 13-game point drought with his helper on a Yakov Trenin tally late in the third period. During that span, Bogosian racked up 13 PIM, 12 blocked shots and 10 hits while seeing third-pairing minutes. He's at five points, 31 shots on net, 25 hits, 31 blocks and a plus-5 rating over 27 appearances this season.
