Wild vs. Oilers Prediction, Odds, Picks - Dec. 20
Ben Jones - Heads to minors Jones was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Friday.
Impact Jones successfully cleared waivers, but unlike others who end up on the wire, it wasn't immediately clear if he'd be demoted after going unclaimed. He did play in Thursday's 5-2 victory over Columbus, recording two shots over 7:02 of ice time. His demotion also brings the Wild down to 11 healthy forwards on their active roster -- 10 if Marcus Johansson (lower body) can't play Saturday versus Edmonton. However, Minnesota has time to promote forwards before its upcoming game against the Oilers.

Carson Lambos - Sent back down Lambos was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Friday.
Impact Lambos was called up Wednesday, and he made his NHL debut during Thursday's 5-2 win over Columbus. He recorded a blocked shot and a plus-1 rating in 10:16 of ice time, but he'll head back to the minors a day later, signaling that at least one of Minnesota's injured defensemen could be cleared to suit up Saturday against the Oilers.

Jesper Wallstedt - Starter for Sunday Wallstedt will be between the pipes versus Colorado on Sunday, according to Joe Smith of The Athletic.
Impact Wallstedt is 10-1-2 with a 1.96 GAA and a .936 save percentage this season across 13 starts. He picked up his lone regulation loss Dec. 6 in Vancouver, allowing four goals on 21 shots, but he has come back nicely with a pair of wins while allowing four goals on 65 shots. The Avalanche lead the league in scoring, averaging 4.03 goals per game.
