Impact Reilly has a helper in each of the last two contests. It appears Reilly is gaining traction to stay in the lineup under new head coach Patrick Roy -- the 30-year-old blueliner has been in the lineup for four of the Islanders' six games since Roy took over. Reilly has 11 points, 66 shots on net, 28 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating through 30 outings between the Islanders and the Panthers this season, so he's unlikely to have much utility in fantasy.

Impact Reilly's playing time slipped in late January, as he was scratched for three of the Islanders' last five games before the All-Star break. With Adam Pelech healthy after an injury scare before the break, Reilly was on the third pairing and will likely have to fend off Samuel Bolduc and Sebastian Aho for playing time. Reilly has 10 points, 66 shots on net, 25 hits, 28 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating through 29 appearances between the Islanders and the Panthers this season.

Impact Reilly saw action in only two of the Panthers 19 games and with Brandon Montour and Aaron Ekblad back in action, it's no surprise that Reilly is no longer needed on the roster. Expect Reilly to be sent to the minors, if he passes through waivers.

Impact Reilly signed a three-year, $9 million contract two seasons ago, but he spent most of the 2022-23 campaign in the AHL, playing 36 games with Providence. He managed 10 games at the NHL level with Boston, picking up one assist. Reilly will save the Bruins $2,666,666 in salary cap space this season, costing them $1,333,334 in 2024-25 in dead cap space.
