Set to return Wednesday Rossi (lower body) will be taken off injured reserve and play Wednesday versus Winnipeg, per Canucks Insider.

Impact Rossi has five goals and 15 points in 25 appearances between Minnesota and Vancouver in 2025-26. Rossi is projected to serve on the second line alongside Drew O'Connor and Brock Boeser (concussion), the latter of which is also set to be activated off injured reserve. Aatu Raty and Max Sasson are set to be healthy scratches to accommodate the return of Rossi and Boeser.

Officially ruled out through Olympics Rossi (lower body) suffered a setback and won't be back until after the Olympic break, Farhan Lalji of TSN reports Tuesday.

Impact Rossi has already been sidelined for the last 13 games due to his lower-body problem and will now be shelved for at least five more before the break. Once given the all-clear, Rossi should reclaim a spot in the top six for Vancouver, though it will likely be too late for the team to make a postseason push.

Still 2-3 weeks from returning Rossi (lower body) is expected to be sidelined for 2-3 more weeks, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports Monday.

Impact Rossi's timeline puts him in danger of not returning before the Olympic break. In his eight games with the Canucks since being acquired via trade, the 24-year-old center notched one goal, one assist and nine shots. At this point, there is little chance that Rossi will reach the 60-point threshold as he did last season and could be at risk of missing the 40-point mark.

Hits injured reserve Rossi (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Friday, according to Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com.

Impact Rossi was injured in the third period Tuesday and did not return. The 24-year-old has struggled offensively with the Canucks since his trade from Minnesota on Dec. 12 with Quinn Hughes going the other way. Rossi has a goal and an assist in eight games with Vancouver this season, after tallying four goals and nine assists in 17 games with the Wild.

The 24-year-old Rossi has five goals and 15 points in 25 outings between Minnesota and Vancouver this season. Aatu Raty is slated to draw back into the lineup Friday versus Seattle because of Rossi's injury.

Impact The helper was Rossi's first point in four outings with the Canucks since he was swapped from Minnesota in the Quinn Hughes deal.
