Impact Persson produced four goals and 16 points across 52 regular-season appearances with Jukurit of Finland's Liiga in 2024-25. The Capitals selected the 21-year-old forward with the No. 85 pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.

Joining Finnish club Persson will spend the 2024-25 season on loan with Jukurit (Finland), the club announced Wednesday.

Impact Persson will once again remain overseas rather than coming to North America. Selected by the Capitals in the third round of the 2022 NHL Draft, the 20-year-old winger may be facing an uphill battle to secure an NHL roster spot at some point in the future.

Moving to minors Persson was re-assigned to AHL Hershey on Friday.

Impact Persson was brought over for a taste of North American action after spending the balance of the 2022-23 campaign with BIK Karlskoga of the Swedish second-tier Allsvenskan where he posted four goals and 15 points in 45 games. The 19-year-old is expected to provide some depth for AHL Hershey's playoff run but remains a long way from being a fantasy-relevant NHL player.
