Phillip Danault - Lends assist in overtime loss Danault registered an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Bruins.
Impact Danault's helper was his first point in two games this season. The center has added four shots on net and five hits. The Kings have an interesting balance at forward as they try to get three centers (Danault, Quinton Byfield and Anze Kopitar) sufficient minutes in line with their contributions. Of the three, Danault is the most defense-oriented, though he has earned at least 47 points in five of the last six seasons, so he's not a total slouch in the offensive zone.

Mason Lohrei - Delivers assist on game-winner Lohrei notched an assist in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings.
Impact Lohrei set up David Pastrnak's tally at 3:07 of overtime. The 23-year-old Lohrei has played in two of the Bruins' three games so far, earning an assist, a minus-2 rating, two shots on goal and three blocked shots. He's not guaranteed a spot in the lineup and will have to compete with Parker Wotherspoon for playing time as well as Hampus Lindholm for a power-play role.

Matthew Poitras - Earns helper in season debut Poitras logged an assist in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings.
Impact Poitras made his season debut Saturday after missing the first two games with an undisclosed injury sustained during training camp. The 20-year-old centered the third line and saw 16:05 of ice time. He's looking to build off a 15-point effort as a rookie, which he accumulated over 33 regular-season games before a shoulder injury ended his campaign.
