Forces overtime Monday Stanley scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.

Impact Stanley scored at 18:17 of the third period to force overtime. He picked up two assists over eight games between his most recent goals. The 27-year-old blueliner has a career-high nine goals and 18 points, and he's added 58 shots on net, 97 PIM, 89 hits and 67 blocked shots over 54 outings. He's set for unrestricted free agency this summer, so it's possible he'll be traded to a contender, which would help the Jets with a likely retool.

Lands one-game ban Stanley received a one-game suspension from the NHL Department of Player Safety on Sunday for roughing Ottawa's Brady Tkachuk on Saturday.

Impact Stanley won't be available for Tuesday's matchup against Vegas due to the suspension, but he will be eligible to return against Edmonton on Thursday. Impact Stanley and Brady Tkachuk were involved in an altercation during the second period of Saturday's game that resulted in Stanley picking up a double-minor and Tkachuk receving a 10-minute misconduct penalty. In that scrum, the Jets defenseman punched Tkachuk, and that is likely the incident that could draw supplemental discipline from the league. A suspension could be on the way for the 27-year-old Stanley, who has seven goals and six assists in 40 games this year.
