Will remain in Sweden Andersson has decided to remain in Sweden for the 2020-21 campaign, Larry Brooks of the New York Post reports.
Impact It's been a whirlwind of a year for Andersson. The seventh overall pick from the 2017 draft was sent to the AHL in November after notching just one assist in 17 games with the big club. He then formally requested a trade and left AHL Hartford, at which point he was suspended by the Rangers. The team then loaned Andersson to HV71 of the SHL, where he finished the campaign with 12 points in 15 games. At this point it's clear we won't be seeing the 21-year-old forward in the NHL until he's traded to another organization.
