Big game in shootout win Ohgren scored a goal on three shots, dished an assist, added three hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Bruins.
Impact Ohgren set up a Max Sasson goal late in the first period, then put the Canucks ahead 4-3 in the third. That lead didn't last, but Ohgren was tabbed for a seventh-round shootout attempt, and he converted the lone tally in the skills competition. The 21-year-old already has three points over four outings with the Canucks after failing to log a point in 18 games with the Wild before he was part of the return in the Quinn Hughes trade. Ohgren looks set for steady bottom-six minutes for a while, but fantasy managers can wait to see if this change of scenery pays off in the long run.

Liam Ohgren gets only score in 7th round of shootout and Canucks rally past Bruins 5-4

Liam Ohgren was the only one to score in a seven-round shootout, and the Vancouver Canucks beat the Boston Bruins 5-4 for their fourth straight victory

Pots first goal for Vancouver Ohgren scored his first goal of the season in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Rangers.
Impact Part of the package the Canucks received last week for Quinn Hughes, Ohgren gave his new club a 2-0 lead early in the second period by wiring a shot that just trickled through Jonathan Quick. The 21-year-old has only four goals and eight points in his first 48 NHL games split between Minnesota and Vancouver, but the 19th overall pick in the 2022 Draft will get a bigger opportunity to show his offensive upside on a Canucks team that seems headed for a full rebuild.

Impact Ohgren will give the Canucks another young prospect to work with as they attempt a significant retooling following their latest failure to get competitive. This is a change of scenery for Ohgren, who had just seven points in 46 career games over the last three NHL campaigns. The 21-year-old winger may still end up seeing some time with AHL Abbotsford to work on his development. Ohgren failed to log a point in 18 NHL outings this season, and if he sticks in the NHL with the Canucks, he's unlikely to be anything more than a bottom-six option initially.

Back in NHL The Wild recalled Ohgren from AHL Iowa on Saturday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.
Impact Ohgren was unable to hit the scoresheet in five NHL games this season before his demotion. The 21-year-old will replace Marco Rossi (lower body) on the roster, but he could be the 13th forward Saturday versus the Ducks.

Reassigned to AHL Ohreg was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Saturday.
Impact With Tyler Pitlick being recalled, Ohgren will return to the AHL Wild, where he racked up an impressive 19 goals and 18 assists in 41 games last season. Minnesota appears poised to continue developing its former first-round pick in the minors, but he'll likely be a factor in Minnesota sooner rather than later.

Sent down Monday Ohgren was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Monday.
Impact The Wild currently have 12 healthy forwards on the roster after sending Ohgren to the minors, so he could be back with the big club in short order. This move could also signal that one of Marcus Foligno (upper body) or Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body) is close to returning, but that remains to be seen. Ohgren has two goals and five points across 24 outings with Minnesota this season.
MARCH 25 • ROTOWIRE
Back with Minnesota Ohgren was recalled from AHL Iowa under emergency conditions Sunday.
Impact Ohgren was sent back to the minors yesterday, but he'll now rejoin Minnesota a day later. The 21-year-old winger will presumably fill a depth role Monday against the Stars, barring any injuries in the Wild lineup. Ohgren has two goals and five points in 24 NHL contests this year.

Returns to minors Ohgren was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Saturday.
Impact Ohgren has two goals and five points in 24 appearances with the Wild in 2024-25. He also has 14 goals and 28 points in 29 outings with Iowa. Marco Rossi (lower body) and Marcus Johansson (illness) were able to play Saturday, giving the Wild 12 healthy forwards without Ohgren.
MARCH 22 • ROTOWIRE
Buries goal in win Ohgren scored a goal on four shots in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Kraken.
Impact Ohgren's tally at 4:29 of the first period gave the Wild a commanding 3-0 lead that proved to be more than enough. He drew into the lineup for Marcus Johansson (illness), but Ohgren could play again Saturday versus the Sabres if Marco Rossi (lower body) can't suit up. Ohgren has generated two goals, five points, 32 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-6 rating over 24 appearances this season.
