INJURIES

First off Tuesday Vejmelka is expected to start Tuesday's home game against Colorado after being the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Brogan Houston of Deseret News Sports reports.
Impact Vejmelka made 18 saves in a 6-3 win over San Jose on Friday. He has won his last three outings while stopping 58 of 64 shots to improve to 3-1-0 this season. Colorado sits eighth in the league with 3.50 goals per game this campaign.
OCTOBER 21, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Yields three goals in win Vejmelka stopped 18 of 21 shots in Friday's 6-3 win over the Sharks.
Impact Two of the Sharks goals came on power plays, so this wasn't really all that bad of a performance from Vejmelka. The Mammoth's scoring outburst helped him get away with less than his best performance. This was the first time all season that Vejmelka has allowed more than two goals, and he improved to 3-1-0 with eight goals allowed on 91 shots. The defense has kept his workload light so far, which bodes well for improved performances. The Mammoth's next game is at home versus the Bruins on Sunday.

First goalie off Friday Vejmelka was the first goalie off during Friday's morning skate, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against the Sharks.
Impact Vejmelka has had a solid start to the season, going 2-1-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .929 save percentage while starting in three of Utah's first four games of the season. He'll attempt to pick up a third consecutive victory in Friday's matchup against the Sharks, who have yet to enter the win column this year.

Allows one goal in win Vejmelka stopped 19 of 20 shots in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Flames.
Impact Vejmelka has won his last two starts and looks to be in a groove early in the season. He's allowed a total of five goals on 70 shots this season, with his lone mistake Wednesday being an unlucky bounce of a Rasmus Andersson shot. Vejmelka is likely to continue getting a majority of the starts for the Mammoth, who host the Sharks on Friday for their next game.

First goalie off Wednesday Vejmelka was the first goalie to leave the ice Wednesday, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports, indicating he'll guard the cage at home versus the Flames.
Impact Vejmelka will be back between the pipes after getting the night off versus Chicago on Monday. In two appearances this year, the 29-year-old backstop is 1-1-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .920 save percentage. Vejmelka should see the bulk of the starts this season with Vitek Vanecek serving as the No. 2 option.

Earns first win of season Vejmelka stopped 20 of 22 shots he faced in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Impact Vejmelka bounced back from the season-opening loss to the Avalanche on Thursday and earned his first win of the campaign. Given the opponent he faced in the first game of the campaign, it's safe to say Vejmelka is having a solid start to the season after posting a save percentage of at least .905 in both outings while stopping 45 of 49 shots faced so far. His next chance to play will come Monday against the Blackhawks, again on the road.

Slated to start Saturday Vejmelka was the first netminder off the ice at morning skate and is expected to defend the visiting cage in Nashville on Saturday, according to Cole Bagley of KSL Sports.
Impact Vejmelka played a strong game Opening Night, allowing two goals on 25 shots, but it wasn't enough in a 2-1 loss to Colorado. The Predators scored a pair of goals Thursday in a 2-1 win over Columbus.
OCTOBER 11, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Loses close game Vejmelka allowed two goals on 25 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Avalanche.
Impact Vejmelka was steady, but the Mammoth didn't give him enough support on offense. The 29-year-old netminder went 26-22-8 with a 2.58 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 58 games a season ago, with all of those marks representing career bests. Vejmelka is the unquestioned starter over Vitek Vanecek to begin 2025-26 and will look to be steady at the back for a Utah team that has playoff aspirations. The Mammoth continue their season-opening road trip in Nashville on Saturday.

Facing Avalanche Vejmelka was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports, and will get the Opening Night assignment in Colorado on Thursday.
Impact Vejmelka took a huge step forward last season, posting a 26-22-8 mark with a 2.58 GAA and a .904 save percentage, far superior to 2023-24 when he went 13-19-2 with a 3.35 GAA and an .895 save percentage. The Avalanche won their first game of the season Tuesday, finding the back of the net on four occasions in a road win over Los Angeles.
OCTOBER 9, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Expected to start Saturday Vejmelka is set to guard the home crease for Saturday's preseason game against San Jose, per Catherine Bogart of Utah's official site.
Impact Vejmelka had a 26-22-8 record, 2.58 GAA and .904 save percentage across 58 outings with Utah last year. He's expected to start the upcoming campaign as Utah's No. 1 goalie, so Vejmelka will probably play between the pipes in Colorado for Utah's regular-season opener Thursday.
OCTOBER 4, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Not starting Thursday Vejmelka will not start Thursday's preseason game versus the Kings, Brogan Houston of Deseret News Sports reports.
Impact Vejmelka appeared to be in line for the start, but that has changed. This is likely nothing to be concerned about, as Vejmelka will likely get the nod for the preseason finale versus the Sharks on Saturday.

Impact Vejmelka will make his third preseason start in what could be his final chance to suit up before the start of the regular season. The 29-year-old went 26-22-8 with a 2.58 GAA and .904 save percentage last year, and he'll likely serve as the Mammoth's Opening Night starter against the Avalanche next Thursday.

Impact This will be Vejmelka's second start of the preseason, as he allowed three goals on 17 shots against the Ducks on Sept. 22. It remains to be seen if this will be the 29-year-old's last appearance during the preseason, but he's essentially a lock to draw the start in the Mammoth's regular-season opener against the Avalanche on Oct. 9.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
In goal Monday Vejmelka will defend the road blue paint in Monday's preseason contest against the Ducks, per Cole Bagley of KSL Sports.
Impact Vejmelka is cemented as the Mammoth's No. 1 netminder heading into the 2025-26 campaign. The 29-year-old received workhorse usage last season, registering a 26-22-8 record, 2.58 GAA and .904 save percentage across 58 outings. Jaxson Stauber will compete with Vitek Vanecek for backup duties behind Vejmelka this year.
