Impact Yamamoto had two goals and three points in 12 appearances with Utah in 2024-25. Utah's season is over, so Yamamoto will help Tucson instead. He has 19 goals and 53 points across 52 outings with the minor-league club.

Signs one-year deal Yamamoto signed a one-year, two-way contract with Utah on Sunday.

Impact Yamamoto turned his professional tryout into a one-year deal ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. He produced eight goals and eight assists in 59 games with Seattle during the 2023-24 regular season. Yamamoto will occupy a depth role with Utah HC and could see playing time in the bottom six.
