Waived for purpose of reassignment Slavin landed on waivers Tuesday for the purpose of being reassigned to AHL Chicago.

Impact Slavin last appeared in the NHL with the Blackhawks during the 2021-22 campaign, registering one assist and four PIM over 15 games. The 26-year-old will link back up with the Wolves for the 2025-26 season if he goes unclaimed on the waiver wire.

Waived for AHL demotion Slavin was waived Sunday with the intent to assign him to AHL Chicago.

Impact Slavin notched 10 goals and 24 points in 70 games with AHL Toronto during the 2023-24 regular season. He will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.

Lands two-year deal Slavin signed a two-year, two-way contract with Carolina on Sunday.

Impact Slavin registered 10 goals and 24 points in 70 regular-season contests with AHL Toronto in 2023-24. The 25-year-old forward has one assist in 15 career NHL contests. Slavin will likely spend most of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors, so he may not get the opportunity to play in the same lineup as his older brother, Jaccob, in the big league.

Dealt to Anaheim Slavin was traded to Anaheim for Hunter Drew on Thursday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Impact Slavin last played in the NHL last season, when he had an assist in 15 games. Slavin had three goals and 11 points in 51 games with AHL Rockford before the trade this season.
