NOVEMBER 24 • NHL.COM
Sent to AHL Roy was assigned to AHL Laval on Monday.
Impact Roy hasn't earned a point in three NHL appearances this season while posting two shots on goal and six hits. He has supplied four goals and three assists in 10 minor-league outings this campaign.

Florian Xhekaj recalled by Canadiens, could join brother in lineup for NHL debut against Leafs

The Montreal Canadiens recalled forward Florian Xhekaj, the fiesty younger brother of bruising defenseman Arber Xhekaj, from the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League on Frida...
NOVEMBER 21 • Associated Press
Not reassigned after all Roy was not reassigned to AHL Laval on Friday as previously reported, and he remains with the Canadiens.
Impact Montreal's roster is still compliant, so it appears some wires got crossed in the team's previous announcement. Roy will remain in contention for bottom-six minutes as long as he's with the big club.

Florian Xhekaj recalled from Rocket, Joshua Roy loaned to Laval | Montréal Canadiens This is Xhekaj’s first ever call-up to Montreal
NOVEMBER 21 • NHL.COM
Returned to minors Roy was reassigned to AHL Laval on Friday.
Impact Roy has no points, two PIM and six hits in three outings with Montreal this season. Florian Xhekaj has been summoned from AHL Laval in a corresponding move.

Canadiens forward Kirby Dach is out for four to six weeks with a fractured foot

The Montreal Canadiens say forward Kirby Dach will miss the next four to six weeks because of a fractured foot
NOVEMBER 16 • Associated Press
Canadiens lose Kirby Dach for 4 to 6 weeks with fractured foot The Habs' injury list keeps growing as the team calls up Joshua Roy from the AHL's Laval Rocket ahead of Monday's game in Columbus.
NOVEMBER 16 • MONTREALGAZETTE.COM
Brought up from minors Roy was summoned from AHL Laval on Sunday.
Impact Roy will probably be in the lineup against Columbus on Monday due to injuries to Patrik Laine (abdomen), Alex Newhook (ankle) and Kirby Dach (foot). The 22-year-old Roy has four goals and seven points in 10 AHL outings this season.

Joshua Roy and Marc Del Gaizo loaned to Laval Rocket | Montréal Canadiens Roy, Del Gaizo travelled with the Canadiens out west after October 21 recall
OCTOBER 30 • NHL.COM
Drops to AHL Roy was reassigned to AHL Laval on Wednesday.
Impact Roy will be able to play in the Rocket's game Friday before potentially returning to the big club ahead of Saturday's contest versus the Senators. During his most recent stint with the big club, Roy had four hits in his lone appearance, which saw him log 7:58 of ice time.

OCTOBER 21 • NHL.COM
Promoted from minors Roy was recalled from AHL Laval on Tuesday.
Impact Roy's promotion comes as Owen Beck was sent down in a corresponding move. The 22-year-old Roy will join the Habs for their four-game road trip and could get into the lineup if Kirby Dach (lower body) and Patrik Laine (lower body) remain on the shelf. If either of that duo plays versus the Flames on Wednesday, it likely will mean Roy is playing the role of healthy scratch from the press box.
OCTOBER 21 • ROTOWIRE
Tallies twice in AHL victory Roy scored two goals in AHL Laval's 5-2 win over Manitoba on Sunday.
Impact Roy didn't hang around the Canadiens' camp as long as expected this fall, getting reassigned in late September. The 22-year-old will need to get himself back on track before he gets left behind as the big club works to integrate other prospects. Roy put up 35 points in 47 AHL regular-season games as well as two goals in 12 NHL outings with Montreal last year. He's already produced three goals through the first two minor-league contests this season.

After harsh reality check last year, Joshua Roy arrived at Canadiens camp with new attitude After harsh reality check last year, Joshua Roy arrived at Canadiens camp with new attitude
OCTOBER 1 • MONTREALGAZETTE.COM
Sent down to AHL Roy was reassigned to AHL Laval on Saturday.
Impact Roy was one of the more notable cuts from camp after Saturday's game versus the Maple Leafs. The 22-year-old forward has earned 11 points over 35 regular-season games at the NHL level over the last two years, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him earn a call-up at some point in 2025-26.
