Off to San Jose Huntington signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Sharks on Tuesday.

Impact Huntington has yet to make his NHL debut, so this looks to be a depth addition for the Sharks. He was injured for most of 2024-25, drawing into just four games with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, in which he earned four points. The Sharks could turn to him as a fourth-line option if he performs well in the minors with AHL San Jose.

Impact Huntington has never made an NHL appearance, having spent his entire professional career in the minors since turning pro back in 2019-20. At this point, the Pens have multiple forward options that are probably ahead of the 25-year-old undrafted center, so fantasy players shouldn't be expecting to see him play for Pittsburgh any time soon.

Impact Huntington agreed an AHL contract with the Bears back in July for the 2023-24 season. He had been attending camp with the Capitals on a tryout basis. Huntington notched nine goals and 28 points in 51 contests last campaign with AHL Milwaukee.
