Ex-Penguins Jesse Puljujarvi Signs With New Team Former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jesse Puljujarvi is heading overseas.

Heading overseas Puljujarvi signed a two-year contract with Geneve-Servette HC of Switzerland's National League on Tuesday, according to Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports.

Impact Puljujarvi is set to continue his playing career overseas after splitting time between the Penguins and Panthers' organizations in 2024-25. If that's it for the 2016 first-round selection's time in the NHL, he'll finish with 58 goals and 128 points over 387 regular-season games spanning four teams. The right-shot winger could eventually make his way back to North America if he plays well in Switzerland, though.

Florida Panthers Assign Jesse Puljujarvi To Charlotte The Florida Panthers have assigned forward Jesse Puljujarvi to the Charlotte Checkers, it was announced Friday.

Sent to AHL Puljujarvi was reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Friday, according to Panthers' beat reporter Alex Baumgartner.

Impact Puljujarvi was recalled Tuesday to serve his two-game suspension for an illegal hit to the head on Tampa Bay's Mitchell Chaffee on April 15. Puljujarvi had one goal in five regular-season games with the Panthers after he was released by the Penguins on Feb. 9. Puljujarvi had five goals and eight assists in 22 AHL games before his recall and will likely suit up for Charlotte when the Checkers resume play in the Atlantic Division Semifinals.
