Impact Vikman's elevation to the NHL roster would seem to indicate that Akira Schmid or Carter Hart will not be available to face the Devils on Friday, though perhaps the team is just adding another goalie for its five-game East Coast road trip. Even with Vikman's promotion, he's far from guaranteed to see any minutes, considering there are no back-to-backs on this trip.
