Impact Viel has spent most of the season with AHL San Jose, though he enjoyed a brief stint with the taxi squad in January. The 24-year-old has yet to make his NHL debut. Through 139 AHL contests, Viel has collected 26 goals, 30 assists and 228 PIM.
