Impact Struble's two goals this season have both come in the last six games. The 24-year-old defenseman is getting a chance to play a larger role in the absence of Alexandre Carrier (upper body). First goal in 87 games Struble scored a goal Thursday in a 2-1 win over Columbus.

Impact Struble drove in from the left point, took a pass at the dot and snapped a shot stick side on Jet Greaves. It was his first goal since Nov. 26, 2024 (87 games). Struble also added two hits. The rugged defender has one goal, 10 assists and 89 hits on the season (48 games). One goal, three assists and 18 hits have come in his last 10 games.

His ice time has risen in recent weeks, suggesting he is gaining some stability in the lineup over Arber Xhekaj. Struble has managed 10 helpers, 15 shots on net, 87 hits and 40 PIM through 47 outings this season, providing more toughness than scoring.

Impact Struble is seeing a bit more playing time than Arber Xhekaj, but both blueliners have received limited opportunities on the third pairing. He's not as overtly physical as Xhekaj, so Struble is a fine depth defenseman on the ice but not much of a factor in fantasy.

Impact Struble missed Saturday's game versus the Avalanche due to the injury, but it looks like he's good to go. He'll retake his spot on the second pairing, while Arber Xhekaj will move back down to the third pairing and Adam Engstrom is set to be a healthy scratch.
