Slated to become free agent Mysak didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Ducks, and he'll become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday.

Impact Mysak spent the past four seasons in the AHL, most recently recording 10 goals, 13 assists and 31 PIM across 56 regular-season appearances with San Diego in 2025-26. He's agreed to terms on an SHL contract ahead of the 2026-27 season, so it isn't particularly surprising to see him part ways with the Ducks.

Pots pair in AHL win Mysak scored two goals in AHL San Diego's 5-3 win over Tucson on Wednesday.

Impact Mysak has put together a decent season so far with nine goals and 11 helpers over 38 contests. He had been limited to one assist over the previous eight games. Mysak, a second-round pick of the Canadiens from 2020, has yet to make his NHL debut. He signed with the Ducks on a two-way contract for this season.

On waivers for AHL assignment Mysak was placed on waivers by the Ducks with intent to assign to AHL San Diego, the team announced Sunday.

Impact Mysak spent the entire season in AHL San Diego last season, registering 42 points in 68 games, and that's where he'll at least begin this year. The 23-year-old had an assist in two preseason appearances, but is still seeking his NHL debut in the regular season.

Signs two-way deal Mysak signed a one-year, two-way contract with Anaheim on Tuesday.

Impact Mysak registered 18 goals and 42 points in 68 regular-season appearances with AHL San Diego in 2024-25. The 23-year-old forward hasn't made his NHL debut yet and could spend most of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors.
