Set to start Friday Fedotov is expected to start on the road against the Islanders on Friday.

Impact Fedotov has a 4-5-3 record, 3.26 GAA and .879 save percentage in 13 appearances in 2024-25. He hasn't shown up in the win column since Nov. 29, going 0-1-2 with a 2.92 GAA and an .870 save percentage since then. The Islanders are in a three-way tie for 28th in goals per game with 2.65.

Falls to Jackets in shootout Fedotov turned aside 26 shots in regulation and overtime and one of three shootout attempts in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Impact The 28-year-old goalie was able to shut down most of Columbus' skaters, but Zach Werenski found the back of the net in the first and third periods, and Fedotov then had little luck in the shootout. In the long term, it figures to be Samuel Ersson's crease to lose once he returns from a lower-body injury.
