Re-signs with Panthers Mayhew signed a one-year, two-way contract with Florida on Sunday.

Impact Mayhew supplied 24 goals and 44 points in 69 games with AHL Charlotte last season. He will probably begin the 2023-24 campaign in the minors.

Impact Mayhew will be a scratch for the regular-season finale. He's recorded 42 points over 68 AHL games, ranking fourth on Charlotte's scoring list. With Patric Hornqvist (concussion) and Sam Bennett (groin) out, Mayhew appears to be a depth addition for the Panthers' playoff run.

Impact Considering Anas was the leading point producer in the AHL this past season (70 points in 63 games), it shouldn't be a surprise to see him joining the team for camp. The Maryland native could be in the mix for a spot in the lineup when Minnesota faces off with Vancouver, especially if the coaching staff believes he can provide more depth scoring than the likes of Ryan Donato. In addition to Anas, the team will add forwards Gerald Mayhew, Kyle Rau, J.T. Brown, Luke Johnson and Nico Sturm, defensemen Calen Addison, Louis Belpedio, Matt Bartkowski and Brennan Menell and goalies Kaapo Kahkonen and Matt Robson.
