Signs seven-year deal Lindholm secured a seven-year, $54.25 million contract with Boston on Monday, Irfaan Gaffar of The Fourth Period reports.

Impact Lindholm managed just 15 goals in 75 regular-season contests between the Flames and Canucks this season, his lowest goal total since 2016-17 when he was with Carolina. While a first-line role probably is unlikely with the Bruins, Lindholm should be in the mix for power-play minutes. Look for the Swedish winger to get himself back above the 20-goal mark this year and could even challenge for 30 given the talent around him.

Generates helper Monday Lindholm logged an assist, two shots on goal, five hits and two blocked shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Oilers in Game 7.

Impact Lindholm did his part in the second round with three goals and four assists over seven games, but it wasn't enough to extend the Canucks' season. The center produced 22 points over 39 contests between the regular season and playoffs with Vancouver following his trade from Calgary. The 29-year-old is set for unrestricted free agency and figures to be one of the biggest names on the market July 1, assuming he doesn't re-up with the Canucks before then.

Impact Lindholm has points in three straight games and six points over five contests versus the Oilers. His assist Thursday was timely, as it set up J.T. Miller for the game-winning goal with 33 seconds left in the third period. Lindholm has produced nine points, 22 shots on net, 30 hits and a plus-3 rating over 11 playoff outings. He spent much of the postseason on the third line, but he was moved up to the second line in an effort to support the slumping Elias Pettersson, who shifted to the wing.
