Placed on injured reserve Lindholm (lower body) was put on injured reserve Saturday, Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal reports.

Impact Lindholm was deemed week-to-week by head coach Marco Sturm last week, so it's no surprise that Lindholm has been transferred to injured reserve. He has four goals and five assists in 13 games, including four goals and seven points on the power play. The Bruins recalled Alex Steeves from AHL Providence in a corresponding move.

Impact Lindholm suffered a lower-body injury against the Sabres on Thursday and is undergoing an MRI on Friday to determine the extent of the issue. However, he's slated to face a multi-week absence, even before the results of his imaging are known. John Beecher is slated to draw into the lineup Saturday against Carolina, while Fraser Minten will likely shift into a top-six role.

Impact Lindholm earned his first multi-point effort sine Opening Night with this performance. He had been limited to two points in his previous six outings. For the season, the 30-year-old center is up to nine points, including seven on the power play, through 12 contests. He's added 22 shots on net, 19 hits, 14 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating while filling a top-line role. He's well on his way to making 2025-26 better than last season, when he had 47 points in 82 regular-season games.
