Max Jones - Suffers injury Saturday Jones (lower body) left Saturday's 1-0 loss to the Kings in the first period after falling awkwardly into the boards on a hit, according to Jamie Umbach of the Oilers' official sit...
Impact There was no update on Jones' status following the game, and Edmonton recalled Isaac Howard from AHL Bakersfield on Sunday. Howard could replace Jones in the lineup for Monday's matchup against Colorado. The 28-year-old Jones has three goals, five points, 22 shots on net and 56 hits in 21 appearances with the Oilers this season.

Isaac Howard - Called up from minors Howard has been recalled from AHL Bakersfield by the Oilers, the team announced Sunday.
Impact Howard hasn't seen NHL action since late January, seeing an extended run in the AHL with Bakersfield. The 22-year-old has been impressive with the Condors, posting 47 points (22 goals, 25 assists) in 45 games. His NHL numbers haven't been quite as impressive as he has just five points in 28 games, but he will likely have a chance to add to those numbers during the final two games of the regular season.

Connor Ingram - Losing end of goaltending duel Ingram made 19 saves Saturday in a 1-0 loss to the Kings.
Impact The game had a distinct playoff feel, and Ingram played really well. The only King to beat him was Artemi Panarin, who beat him glove side on a breakaway after stealing the puck from Evan Bouchard in the Kings zone. Ingram is 1-2-0 in his last three games, and the Oilers are 1-2-1 in their last four, but they managed to secure a playoff spot later Saturday when the Flyers beat the Jets. We're not sure how the Oilers will deploy Ingram in the final two games. Will they play him to ensure he maintains a rhythm heading into the playoffs? Or will they sit Ingram, as wins would secure a first-round match-up against wild card Utah, which has a plus-31 goal differential? These decisions make year-end fantasy decisions so difficult.
