Valeri Nichushkin - Scores in second straight Nichushkin scored a goal on one shot and blocked one shot over 22:42 of ice time in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Oilers.
Impact Nichushkin found the back of the net for the second straight game. He was actually passing to Matt Nieto, but the puck went in off the skate of an Edmonton defender. Each of his two goals have entered the net off skates -- his own boot Saturday and Cody Ceci's on Sunday. He's battled injuries all season, which has hampered his offense of late, but the lucky puck bounces could trigger another scoring burst for the Russian winger.

Nathan MacKinnon - Logs three-pointer MacKinnon scored a goal and assisted on two others in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over Edmonton. He also had nine shots on net and one hit over 28:20 of ice time.
Impact MacKinnon and his mates battled back from a 3-0 deficit. He received the puck with speed into the zone and beat Jack Campbell near side to bring the Avalanche within one at 4-3 just 26 seconds into the third period. MacKinnon has multiple points in five straight, posting five goals and seven assists during the streak. Since returning from injury in late December, the top-line center has 22 points over 21 contests.

Logan O'Connor - Scores in OT win O'Connor scored a goal on two shots and had three blocked shots over 12:11 of ice time in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Oilers.
Impact O'Connor took a couple of whacks at a puck that Edmonton goalie Jack Campbell tried pinning to the post, but the forward eventually muscled it past the netminder midway through the third period. It was the second goal in five games for O'Connor, who has seven on the season.

Alexandar Georgiev - Survives with win Georgiev stopped 35 of 40 shots to pick up the win in Sunday's 6-5 overtime victory over Edmonton.
Impact The Avalanche didn't play well in front of Georgiev, allowing free-roaming Oilers to get off uncontested shots on the goalie. Midway through the second period, Colorado was down, 3-0, but the offense made up for defensive misgivings and stole a win for Georgiev, who has two straight victories. The Avs are off until Friday when they play at Winnipeg.

Mikko Rantanen - Wins it in OT Rantanen scored a goal on four shots in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over Edmonton. He added one hit and one blocked shot over 26:30 of ice time.
Impact Rantanen finished off the Oilers with 22 seconds remaining in overtime to complete Colorado's comeback from a 3-0 deficit. He's scored in two straight after going a season-long six games with a goal. It was Rantanen's 36th tally in 55 games, tying the career high he set last season over 75 contests.
