Signs another PTO with Utah Wells penned a professional tryout agreement with the Mammoth on Tuesday.

Impact Back with Utah on another PTO, Wells will look to have a strong training camp after posting a 3-3-1 record, .900 save percentage and 2.89 GAA over 10 regular-season outings with AHL Tucson in 2024-25. The 2016 fifth-round pick has appeared in just one NHL game with Chicago during the 2022-23 campaign.

Signs PTO Wells inked a professional tryout agreement with Utah on Monday.

Impact Wells had a 3.28 GAA and an .898 save percentage in 18 regular-season contests with AHL Tucson on Monday. He isn't expected to make Utah's Opening Night roster, but he might be able to earn a two-way contract with a strong preseason.

Cut loose from PTO Wells was released from his professional tryout with Nashville on Sunday and sent to AHL Milwaukee.

Impact Wells will try to earn himself a contract at camp with the Admirals. He posted a 9-6-1 record with a 2.96 GAA and a .905 save percentage in 17 appearances with AHL Rockford last season. Wells also played in two games with ECHL Idaho, three contests with AHL Texas and one NHL outing with the Blackhawks during the 2022-23 campaign.

Dealt to Dallas Wells and Max Domi were traded from the Blackhawks to the Stars on Thursday in exchange for Anton Khudobin and a 2025 second-round pick.

Impact Wells made his NHL debut in a relief appearance with the Blackhawks earlier this season. The 25-year-old Wells and the veteran Khudobin will essentially swap spots with the clubs' respective minor-league squads.
