Returns to AHL Ferguson was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Wednesday.

Impact Ferguson was called up Tuesday to serve as a practice player because Filip Gustavsson was away with Team Sweden. The Swedish club played its final game of the 4 Nations Face-Off on Monday, so Gustavsson has presumably rejoined the Wild after a short breather, which would explain why Ferguson is back in the minors.

Impact Per the Wild's release, Ferguson will serve as a practice player as allowed under the terms of the 4 Nations Face-Off rules.
