Heading back to Switzerland Kubalik signed a contract with HC Ambri-Piotta of Switzerland's National League on Wednesday, per Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

Impact Kubalik had 11 goals and 15 points in 74 contests with the Senators last year. The 29-year-old forward previously played for Ambri-Piotta in 2017-18 and 2018-19, recording 35 goals and 84 points across 75 games over those two seasons.
