Dealt to Chicago Kuzmin was traded from Winnipeg to Chicago in exchange for Isaak Phillips on Wednesday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Impact Kuzmin hasn't yet made his NHL debut, but he'll be on the move and will attempt to develop with AHL Rockford moving forward. Over 21 appearances with AHL Manitoba to begin the season, Kuzmin has tallied a goal, three assists, 16 PIM and a minus-9 rating.

Reassigned to AHL Kuzmin was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Monday.

Impact Kuzmin earned 14 goals, 59 points and 96 PIM in 65 games with OHL Flint during the 2022-23 season. He also added eight points in seven postseason outings with the Firebirds. Kuzmin could get a chance to play for the Moose in the Calder Cup Playoffs. The Jets selected the 19-year-old blueliner in the third round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
