Cam Talbot - Starting rematch with Caps Talbot led the team out for warmups and will start Sunday's battle with the Red Wings, Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post reports.
Impact After Logan Thompson and John Gibson started Saturday's game, both teams will be switching goaltenders for the second game of the back-to-back, home-and-home set between Detroit and Washington. The 38-year-old Talbot has lost six straight starts, allowing three goals or more in all but one of those contests. Despite the dry spell, he still carries a 9-6-2 record into the game but with a 3.07 GAA and an .883 save percentage.

Charlie Lindgren - Starts Sunday Lindgren will start Sunday's game against the Red Wings, Mike Vogel of the Capitals' official site reports.
Impact It'll be Lindgren for the Capitals who gets the second of the back-to-back with the Red Wings on Sunday. The 32-year-old will be making just his third start of the month, bringing a 5-4-1 record, 3.10 GAA and an .887 save percentage to the contest, not what the veteran netminder has shown in the past. We'll see if he fares better than his counterpart Logan Thompson, who allowed four goals Saturday in the front end of the two-game set.
