The 28-year-old netminder alternated wins and losses in March with a 6-4-1 record, a 2.76 GAA and an .894 save percentage across his last 11 outings. He'll look to make a statement against the Islanders, who rank 22nd in the NHL with 2.87 goals per game this season, setting up Friday's matchup to be a battle. Vladar is a high-risk, high-reward play in fantasy for Friday's contest.

Impact Martone needed just two NHL games to get his first point. The top prospect has added 14 shots on net, four PIM and a plus-1 rating so far while seeing steady top-six minutes. He looks ready for the moment after making the jump following a single season at Michigan State University, where he had 50 points in 35 outings. Martone may be given favorable zone starts to help his adjustment, but his scoring instincts will be given plenty of room to grow late this season.
