Impact Nurse has three helpers over seven contests since the Olympic break. The 31-year-old defenseman has had a down year on offense with 21 points through 65 contests. He's still bringing a decent amount of physicality with 92 hits, 138 blocked shots and 94 PIM.

Snaps slump with goal Nurse scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Monday's 7-4 win over the Ducks.

Impact Nurse snapped a nine-game point drought with the tally. The 30-year-old defenseman has had a handful of cold stretches this season while filling a top-four role. He's now at seven goals, 17 points, 112 shots on net, 74 hits, 120 blocked shots, 81 PIM and a minus-9 rating over 54 appearances. He's on pace to miss the 30-point mark for the first time since 2017-18.

Impact Nurse played a hand in Connor McDavid's shorthanded goal to help build a two-goal lead early in the third period. With the apple, Nurse now has seven assists, 13 points, 77 shots on goal, 49 hits and 79 blocks through 35 games this season. While his contributions offensively have been inconsistent since the start of November, the 30-year-old defenseman has three points in his last five games to go along with his strong category coverage. He currently ranks sixth in the NHL in blocks, trailing Toronto's Jake McCabe by seven blocks for the league lead. Nurse's all-around production gives him viability at a high level in nearly all fantasy formats. Look for him to make a push for his eighth consecutive season with 30 points or more.
