INJURIES

Earns win in Olympic debut Vladar stopped nine of 12 shots in Czech Republic's 6-3 win over France in the 2026 Winter Olympics on Friday.
Impact Vladar was the backup behind Lukas Dostal in the 5-0 loss to Canada, but he earned the win in this contest despite posting a .750 save percentage. He allowed all three of his goals in the opening six minutes of the second period. It remains to be seen whether Dostal or Vladar will get the nod for the final group-stage game against Switzerland on Sunday.

Starting Friday versus France Vladar will defend the Czech goal versus France on Friday at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Impact Vladar backed up Lukas Dostal on Thursday as Canada defeated the Czechs 5-0. Vladar is having an outstanding season with the Flyers, going 17-8-6 with a gaudy 2.47 GAA and a .905 save percentage. France looks to be the weakest team in the tournament and that will benefit Vladar.

Handed overtime loss Vladar allowed two goals on 27 shots in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact Vladar put forth a good performance, but the Flyers didn't match his level. He can be credited with getting the game to overtime, but Tim Stutzle won it for the Senators just 47 seconds into the extra session. Vladar heads into the Olympics with 11 goals allowed on 112 shots over his last five outings, a span in which he went 1-1-2. He's now at a 17-8-6 record with a 2.47 GAA and a .905 save percentage over a career-high 33 appearances. It's unclear if Vladar will see much playing time with the Czech team, which boasts some depth in net with the Ducks' Lukas Dostal and the Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka.

In goal Thursday Vladar will get the starting nod at home against the Senators on Thursday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Impact Vladar will make his fifth straight appearance in the crease for the Flyers, having gone 1-1-0 in his last four outings while sporting a 2.70 GAA. Once the backstop wraps up Thursday's tilt, he can focus on joining Team Czechia in Milan, though he may face an uphill battle for starts with Lukas Dostal and Karel Vejmelka, the other two Czech netminders.

Makes 26 saves in win Vladar stopped 26 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.
Impact Vladar earned his first win since returning from a six-game absence earlier this month, and it was also the first time during that stretch that he posted a save percentage of at least .900. The 28-year-old netminder should remain as a steady option between the pipes for the Flyers even if his 2.74 GAA and .885 save percentage since the beginning of January are far from optimal numbers.

In goal Tuesday Vladar will get the starting nod at home against the Capitals on Tuesday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Impact Vladar has gone six straight appearances in the crease without registering a win, going 0-2-2 with a 3.22 GAA. Still, the 28-year-old backstop remains the No. 1 option for the Flyers, especially with Samuel Ersson (lower body) dealing with an injury. Even with his recent struggles, Vladar should still be capable of reaching the 20-win mark for the first time in his NHL career.

Falls to LA in OT Vladar stopped 18 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kings.
Impact Neither goalie faced much rubber in the afternoon contest, but Vladar got beaten twice by Adrian Kempe in the first period before Quinton Byfield ripped a shot past him from the faceoff dot in OT. Vladar is 0-1-1 in three outings since returning from a lower-body injury, allowing seven goals on 57 shots (.877 save percentage), but he'll see the bulk of the playing time in the Philly crease as long as Samuel Ersson (lower body) is on the shelf.

Starting Saturday Vladar will be between the home pipes versus Los Angeles on Saturday.
Impact Vladar has been stellar in the Philadelphia cage, posting a 16-8-4 record with a 2.49 GAA and a .904 save percentage across 30 appearances in 2025-26. The Kings are generating 2.58 goals per game, 29th in the NHL this season.

Needed in relief Thursday Vladar stopped all six shots he faced after replacing Samuel Ersson (lower body) to begin the third period of Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Bruins.
Impact Vladar had just returned from his own lower-body injury Wednesday, but he was forced into action in back-to-back games when Ersson wasn't able to answer the bell for the final period. Vladar was set to handle No. 1 duties anyway, and he sports a 16-8-4 record with a 2.49 GAA and .904 save percentage on the season, but he could see even more work than expected if Ersson misses significant time. Aleksei Kolosov will likely be summoned from AHL Lehigh Valley to back up Vladar while Ersson is on the shelf.

Loses to Blue Jackets in return Vladar stopped 26 of 30 shots in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Blue Jackets. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Impact Vladar missed six games due to a lower-body injury. While his final line doesn't really reflect it, Vladar played a big part in keeping this game competitive despite taking the loss. He's down to a 16-8-4 record with a 2.52 GAA and a .904 save percentage over 29 starts. Samuel Ersson is likely to start Thursday in Boston, but Vladar should see a majority of the action between the pipes moving forward, as Ersson did little to improve his standing during Vladar's absence.
