INJURIES

Nabs win in return Vladar made 23 saves in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Impact Making his return from a brief two-game absence due to an upper-body injury, Vladar took a shutout into the third period before Max Sasson got behind the Philly defense and slipped a shot past the netminder midway through the final frame. Vladar hasn't taken a regulation loss since Dec. 1, going 3-0-2 over his last five starts with a stellar 1.76 GAA and .924 save percentage.

Drawing start Monday Vladar was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against Vancouver.
Impact Vladar missed Saturday's game against the Rangers due to an upper-body injury, but he was in the starter's crease during Monday's morning skate and will draw the start in the first half of a back-to-back set. The 28-year-old has been solid in recent outings, going 2-0-2 with a 1.70 GAA and .926 save percentage over his last four starts.

Available against Canucks Vladar (upper body) will be an option for Monday's clash with Vancouver.
Impact The Flyers didn't immediately clarify that Vladar would get the starting nod, but with a back-to-back versus Vancouver and Chicago on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, the 28-year-old netminder figures to start one of those two contests. Through 30 outings this year, Vladar is sporting a pedestrian 12-11-6 record despite a 2.80 GAA and two shutouts.

Rangers rally from a 2-goal deficit to beat the Flyers 5-4 in a shootout

Mika Zibanejad tied it late in the third period, and the New York Rangers killed off two penalties in overtime on the way to beating the Philadelphia Flyers 5-4 in a shootout

Out with injury Vladar (upper body) is day-to-day and won't be in the lineup for Saturday's road game against the Rangers.
Impact Philadelphia recalled Aleksei Kolosov from AHL Lehigh Valley on Saturday on an emergency basis to serve as Samuel Ersson's backup. Vladar has earned a 12-5-3 record this season with a 2.41 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 20 appearances.

Earns win vs. Montreal Vladar stopped 21 of 22 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens.
Impact Vladar was beaten by Alexandre Texier in the first period, but that would be all the offense the Canadiens would be able to muster. Vladar has been playing very well of late and has posted a save percentage of at least .935 in three of his last four starts, posting a 2-0-2 record and a 1.70 GAA over that stretch. He has a tight grip on the No. 1 goaltender role in Philly.

Set to start in Montreal Vladar will patrol the road blue paint Tuesday against the Canadiens, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
Impact Vladar has dropped back-to-back games in overtime to the Golden Knights and Hurricanes, turning aside a combined 49 of 54 shots (.907 save percentage). The 28-year-old netminder has functioned fairly well in the No. 1 role in his first season with the Flyers, logging a 11-5-3 record, 2.48 GAA and .908 save percentage through 19 starts. Montreal sits ninth in the NHL with 3.22 goals per game this season and is coming off a 4-1 victory over Edmonton on Sunday.

Beaten in shootout Vladar stopped 30 of 32 shots in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Hurricanes.
Impact The Flyers fell to the Hurricanes on a shootout for a second time in as many days, but Vladar can't be blamed for the outcome of the game -- he posted a save percentage north of .935 against one of the best offenses in the league. Vladar has won just one of his last four outings, though. Over that stretch, he's posted a 1-1-2 record with a 2.68 GAA and an .889 save percentage.

Facing Canes Sunday Vladar will get the start Sunday against the Hurricanes, the team announced Sunday.
Impact Vladar will get the second of the back-to-back against the Hurricanes, giving them a different look than what they saw Saturday with Samuel Ersson. The 28-year-old has a 11-5-2 record, 2.52 GAA and a .906 save percentage on the season. The Hurricanes put four up on the Flyers on Saturday and are averaging 3.29 goals per game overall, fifth-best in the league.

Felled by Golden Knights Vladar turned aside 18 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Vegas.
Impact The 28-year-old kept the Flyers in the game, but there wasn't much he could do on Mark Stone's OT winner, which stemmed from a Travis Konecny giveaway in his own zone. Vladar has just one regulation loss in his last seven starts, going 5-1-1 with a 2.67 GAA and .899 save percentage over that stretch.

Gets starting nod against Knights Vladar will be between the pipes at home versus Vegas on Thursday.
Impact Vladar continues to put together a strong 2025-26 campaign, posting an 11-5-1 record, 2.50 GAA and .908 save percentage along the way. The netminder has managed to firmly cement himself as the No. 1 option in Philadelphia ahead of Samuel Ersson. With just four more wins, Vladar can set a new career best in victories, topping the 14 wins he racked up in 2022-23 when with the Flames.
DECEMBER 11 • ROTOWIRE
Sharp in 11th win Vladar made 17 saves in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Sharks.
Impact Collin Graf completed a nifty tic-tac-toe passing play midway through the first period on San Jose's first shot of the night, but Vladar shut down the visitors the rest of the way. The 28-year-old netminder has won five of his last six starts, going 5-1-0 with a 2.64 GAA and .905 save percentage during that span, and on the season Vladar's already up to 11 wins -- just three off his career high.
