Sam Steel - Notches assist Tuesday Steel logged an assist and two PIM in in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Ducks.

Impact Steel ended a nine-game point drought when he set up Colin Blackwell's tally. Despite the slump, Steel remains in the lineup as a bottom-six forward, though his path to better minutes got more complicated when the Stars traded for Mikael Granlund and activated Mason Marchment from injured reserve over the weekend. Steel has a respectable 16 points, 64 shots on net, 46 hits, 22 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 52 outings this season and will need to stay sharp to avoid being an occasional healthy scratch.

Jamie Benn - Draws helper in loss Benn notched an assist and two PIM in in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Ducks.

Impact Benn has a helper in each of the first two games in February. The 35-year-old forward assisted on Colin Blackwell's third-period tally that briefly leveled the score at 1-1. Benn is up to 33 points, 98 shots on net, 79 hits, 60 PIM and a plus-3 rating across 53 appearances this season. He's moved around the middle six at times but most frequently fills a third-line role.

Colin Blackwell - Nets lone goal in loss Blackwell scored a goal and added two hits in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Ducks.

Impact Blackwell returned to the lineup to fill in for Mavrik Bourque (face). The 31-year-old Blackwell was scratched Sunday against the Blue Jackets, his first time in the press box since November. The forward could face additional pressure for playing time after the Stars' trade over the weekend that brought in Mikael Granlund from the Sharks to supplement the forward group. Blackwell as mostly functioned as a fourth-liner this season, earning 12 points, 52 shots on net, 70 hits, 20 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 47 appearances.

Jake Oettinger - Takes narrow loss in Anaheim Oettinger stopped 26 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Ducks.

Impact Oettinger's three-game winning streak was snapped in the low-scoring contest despite him allowing fewer goals versus the Ducks than he did in any of those victories. The 26-year-old should be just fine in the long run -- games like this will happen to even the best goalies on occasion. He's now at a 26-12-1 record with a 2.31 GAA and a .912 save percentage through 39 appearances this season. Look for Oettinger to split the last two games before the 4 Nations Face-Off with Casey DeSmith. The Stars visit the Kings on Friday and the Sharks on Saturday prior to the break.

Robby Fabbri - Produces helper in win Fabbri logged an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Stars.

Impact Fabbri has two goals and three assists over his last nine outings. The 29-year-old winger set up a Cutter Gauthier tally in the first period of this contest. Fabbri's production is mostly in line with his bottom-six usage -- he has 15 points, 58 shots on net, 50 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 40 appearances. He chips in a little of everything but likely not at a level acceptable for most fantasy managers.

Olen Zellweger - Earns assist in win Zellweger logged an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Stars.

Impact Zellweger ended a nine-game point drought, dating back to Dec. 23, when he assisted on Trevor Zegras' tally in the third period. In that span, Zellweger was scratched 11 times as he continues to compete with Drew Helleson and Pavel Mintyukov for the last two spots on the Ducks' blue line. Zellweger has 13 points, 82 shots on net, 44 blocked shots, 28 hits and a plus-2 rating over 40 appearances. He sees power-play time when he's in the lineup, but the inconsistent playing time will make it tough to roster the 21-year-od defenseman in fantasy.
