Jake Oettinger - Tending twine Wednesday Oettinger will defend the cage at home against the Blues on Wednesday, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Impact Oettinger is riding a five-game winning streak during which he is sporting a 2.74 GAA and .877 save percentage. It's a strong run of form heading into the 2026 Winter Olympics, which could be enough to secure Oettinger the starting role for Team USA ahead of Connor Hellebuyck and Jeremy Swayman.

Impact Bichsel has been sidelined since late November due to his lower-body injury, and his initial goal was to return around the Olympic break. Gulutzan's comments Wednesday suggest that Bichsel was a possibility to return ahead of the league's layoff, but the team will exercise caution and give him a few extra weeks to rest. It wouldn't be surprising to see him back on the ice when the Stars resume play in late February.

Ilya Lyubushkin - Expected to return Wednesday Lyubushkin (lower body) is set to play Wednesday versus St. Louis, per Brien Rea of Victory+.
Impact Lyubushkin missed Dallas' past four games because of the injury. He has a goal, seven points, 36 PIM, 54 hits and 67 blocks in 39 appearances in 2025-26. The 31-year-old's return might result in Alex Petrovic being a healthy scratch Wednesday.

Nils Lundkvist - Pots goal Monday Lundkvist scored a goal in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Jets.
Impact Lundkvist's tally tied the game at 2-2 late in the second period. The 25-year-old was limited to two helpers, 17 shots on net, 10 hits and 11 blocked shots over 15 outings in January. For the season, he's put up three goals, four assists, 27 shots, 29 blocks, 21 hits, 12 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 29 appearances. He's filling a bottom-four role and is rarely involved in special teams, so Lundkvist has limited fantasy appeal.

Impact Harley has three goals and an assist over his last four games. His latest tally was a game-winner, as the defenseman scored 2:05 into overtime to help the Stars fend off the Jets. For the season, Harley has five goals, 22 points, 72 shots on net, 102 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 44 appearances. He's had a tough year, but he's carrying some momentum into the Olympics, where he'll suit up for Team Canada.

Impact Robertson tallied 48 seconds into the second period to open the scoring. He has four goals and four assists over his last seven contests, including four power-play points. The 26-year-old winger is up to 31 goals, 64 points (27 on the power play), 199 shots on net, 38 hits and a plus-18 rating across 56 appearances in a top-six role.

Impact After helping to set up Jason Robertson for the Stars' first goal just 48 seconds into the second period, Rantanen gave his squad a 3-2 lead midway through the third. It was the 29-year-old winger's 20th goal of the season, a mark he's reached in six straight years, and Rantanen remains on pace for his third career 100-point campaign with 68 points in 53 contests.
