Filip Larsson - Dropped to AHL Larsson was loaned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday.

Impact Larsson earned a 19-9-0 record with a 1.93 GAA and a .920 save percentage across 28 games for Leksands IF of the SHL during the 2023-24 regular season. He will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.

Taylor Gauthier - Heads to minors Gauthier (undisclosed) was moved to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday.

Impact Gauthier's reassignment suggests that he has recovered from his undisclosed injury. The 23-year-old had a 2.23 GAAA and a .923 save percentage across 42 regular-season games with ECHL Wheeling in 2023-24.

Kevin Labanc - Signs one-year deal Labanc signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with Columbus on Saturday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Impact This is a bit of a surprise as Labanc has been with the Devils on a PTO in training camp. Labanc was outstanding during preseason action, scoring six goals and adding an assist in four games. Look for Labanc to have a role as a bottom-six forward with the Blue Jackets.

Noel Acciari - Scores twice in preseason win Acciari notched two goals (on three shots) in Friday's 7-3 preseason win over the Blue Jackets.

Impact Acciari is expected to compete for a bottom-six role in the final days of training camp, but there's no question this two-goal performance certainly boosts his case to earn a role as a bottom-six forward. Acciari had an underwhelming season in 2023-24, though, racking up just seven points in 55 games, which represents his lowest total since 2016-17.

Jesse Puljujarvi - Three points in preseason win Puljujarvi bagged one goal (on three shots) and added two assists in Friday's 7-3 preseason win over the Blue Jackets.

Impact Puljujarvi had an extremely productive 11-second stint in the second period, bagging Pittsburgh's third goal and setting up Rutger McGroarty's tally. Puljujarvi would finish his day by delivering an assist in Lars Eller's second goal -- and Pittsburgh's seventh of the night. The 26-year-old right winger is expected to hold a middle-six role with the Penguins once Pittsburgh opens the season against the Rangers on Oct. 9.
