Justin Danforth - Placed on injured reserve Danforth (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday.

Impact Danforth has missed the last six games due to a lower-body injury he sustained in early December, and it appears as though he'll be sidelined through the NHL's Christmas break. It's not yet clear when he'll return to action, but Kevin Labanc will likely enter the lineup in the near future after James Malatesta was sent down Sunday.

James Malatesta - Sent to minors Malatesta was loaned to AHL Cleveland on Sunday.

Impact Malatesta was recalled by the Blue Jackets on Wednesday, and he made two appearances for Columbus during his time in the NHL. He logged six hits, a blocked shot and a minus-1 rating while averaging 10:34 of ice time, but he'll head back to the minors just before the league's Christmas break.

Jet Greaves - Rejoins NHL club Greaves was recalled by the Blue Jackets on an emergency basis Sunday.

Impact Greaves has made three appearances for the Blue Jackets this year, posting an 0-1-2 record, 3.30 GAA and .896 save percentage. The team hasn't indicated that Elvis Merzlikins or Daniil Tarasov are dealing with injuries, so it's unclear whether Greaves will see any time in the net during his time with the NHL club.

Denton Mateychuk - Called up by Columbus Mateychuk was recalled from AHL Cleveland on Sunday.

Impact Mateychuk was sent to the minors ahead of the regular season, but he'll rejoin the NHL club just before the league's Christmas break. The 20-year-old defenseman hasn't yet made his NHL debut, and it's unclear whether he'll enter the Blue Jackets' lineup during his time with the club.
