Zach Werenski - Moves to IR Werenski (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday.
Impact In a corresponding move, Columbus activated Mathieu Olivier (upper body) from injured reserve. Olivier will return to the lineup against the Islanders on Sunday, while Werenski will miss his second straight game. The 28-year-old Werenski doesn't have an exact timeline for his recovery, but he remains day-to-day and is eligible to come off injured reserve whenever he is ready to play.

Isac Lundestrom - Won't play Sunday Lundestrom (lower body) won't suit up for Sunday's contest against the Islanders, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
Impact Lundestrom suffered a lower-body injury in the first practice out of the holiday break Saturday, and it's serious enough to keep him out of Sunday's contest. It remains to be seen if he'll be available for the team's next contest on Monday.
