Ian Mitchell - Lacking consistent playing time Mitchell was scratched for the third straight game in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks.
Impact Mitchell is a pending restricted free agent this offseason, but he hasn't done much lately to make a lasting impression on the Bruins. He's on a 10-game point drought and has just one point, an assist, over 14 outings at the NHL level this season. He's added 21 blocked shots, 10 shots on goal and a minus-3 rating. The Bruins have some holes to fill on the blue line for 2025-26, but it's unclear if Mitchell will be part of that.

John Beecher - Closing year cold Beecher was held off the scoresheet for the 13th straight game in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks.
Impact Beecher has added nine shots on net, 14 hits, 13 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating during his point drought. The Bruins play just twice more in 2024-25, and while Beecher should be able to stay in the lineup, he's failed to put together a positive finish to the year. He's at 11 points, 44 shots on net, 85 hits, 71 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 78 appearances in a bottom-six role, so he still has some on-ice appeal to the Bruins as a defensive forward.

Louis Crevier - Struggling for playing time Crevier has played in just eight of 19 games since the start of March after suiting up in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Bruins.
Impact Crevier was not papered down to the AHL at the trade deadline, so he is ineligible for Rockford's playoff roster. The 23-year-old also isn't carving out much ice time in the NHL -- his appearance Thursday ended a run of six games as a healthy scratch, but it only happened because Connor Murphy (illness) and Wyatt Kaiser (illness) were out. Crevier has had some positive moments in 2024-25, but he has just four points, 28 shots on net, 68 hits, 49 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 31 appearances. The Blackhawks have a good crop of young defenseman, and it's unclear where Crevier might fit in for 2025-26.

Alex Vlasic - Sets up empty-netter Vlasic logged a shorthanded assist, two hits and three blocked shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Bruins.
Impact Vlasic ended a seven-game point drought with the helper. The 23-year-old defenseman has given way to other prospects like Sam Rinzel, Artyom Levshunov and Kevin Korchinski for power-play time lately, which largely explains Vlasic's reduced output on offense despite his top-four role. He's at 29 points (12 on the power play, one shorthanded), 100 shots on net, 146 blocked shots, 58 hits and a minus-20 rating over 79 appearances. If Vlasic is not part of the Blackhawks' long-term plans on the power play, his fantasy outlook is that of a top-four blueliner who can chip in with blocks and depth scoring, which doesn't bring universal appeal.
